Welcome to the Feiro - PEER Portal for the Rural Evaluation Capacity Building project. This portal will serve as a hub for accessing and sharing resources, engaging in discussions, and staying up to date on our monthly check-ins.
What is the Rural Evaluation Capacity Building project?
The Rural Evaluation Capacity Building (RECB) project is supported by the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS). RECB involves staff and volunteers from the Feiro Marine Life Center and five community partners, including Olympic National Park, Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary (through the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation), NatureBridge at Olympic National Park, and two community funders, Olympic View Community Foundation and the Port Angeles Education Foundation. The six organizations work collaboratively as a professional learning circle focused on both increasing the capacity of individual organizations to conduct evaluation, as well as collectively increasing capacity across the community.
Feiro spearheads this effort, convening community partners to engage in evaluation capacity building activities throughout the duration of the project. PEER Associates, Inc. is facilitating these activities through a three-day face-to-face workshop, monthly web conference-based technical support, and coaching participants through the development and implementation of an evaluation project during the project period.
